| We introduce CHALLENGER 2, a demonstrative project in the eld of concurrent Natural Language Pro-cessing/Machine Translation. This paper gives an overview on the purposed goal for this project, the linguistic model involved , its computational support and current state of work. An interpreter and a compiler written in DFKI Oz for DFL { a very expressive (kernel) language for HPSGs implementation , built on top of a feature constraint system 5] using F-logic semantics 7] { are brieey presented and evaluated.
